The Kindred
Amanda asked her son John on her deathbed to burn all of the lab notebooks and other materials from her final experiment. She also says out loud that he had a brother. At the funeral, John meets Melissa, who introduces herself as his mother's biggest supporter. They visit Amanda's house with a few of John's pals, but none is ready for what they discover there.
