The Gendarme Takes Off

All of the members of Cruchot's police station's in-group have retired. Now he resides with his wealthy wife in her castle, where he is nearly dying of boredom every day. He gets into arguments with the butler since he isn't even permitted to help with the simplest of the household chores. However, when one of the group suffers from amnesia as a result of an accident, the other members of the group get back together and kidnap him in order to take him on a tour of their former places of employment as well as their memories. They wear their old outfits, and they completely take over St. Tropez.
