The End of the Affair

The novelist Maurice Bendrix has an accidental meeting with Henry Miles, the husband of his ex-mistress Sarah, on a wet night in London in1946. Sarah and Maurice had stopped their affair suddenly two years before. Bendrix's fascination with Sarah is reignited, and he gives in to his own feelings of jealousy by arranging for her to be followed.
