Tae-seok, a professional baduk (go) player, loses a high-stakes game to infamous underground gambler Sal-soo, and ends up being framed for the murder of his own brother and imprisoned. He swears vengeance and trains ferociously. After serving his seven-year sentence, he contacts his brother's former associate "Tricks," hermit and blind master player "The Lord," and skilled junkyard owner Mok-su; together, they devise a plan to avenge Sal-soo and his men. Tae-seok gradually infiltrates Sal-inner soo's circle and his gambling den, eliminating Sal-men soo's one by one. Sal-soo, on the other hand, discovers Tae-true seok's identity and challenges him to one final game that will determine the fates of the two men involved.
