The Day of Destruction
Seven years ago, an unidentified monster was discovered buried deep below a coal mine in a rural area. Since then, tales of a plague have spread across the little hamlet, and residents are reporting symptoms of a mental disorder that cannot be explained. A teenage Shugendo practitioner vanishes, only to reappear years later altered and determined to rid the world of the evil beasts that have been plaguing it.
