In 1599 Italy, Beatrice Cenci is the teenage child of the crazy landowner and nobleman Francesco Cenci whom he maintains his child secured in the dungeon of his castle as well as sexually misuses her too. Beatrice then plots with her stepmother, her besotted servant Olimpio, along with a regional outlaw, named Catalano, to intend Francesco's murder.
