The Cleansing Hour
Drew and Max, two millennial entrepreneurs, host a webcast that broadcasts live exorcisms that are elaborately prepared pranks. They have their comeuppance, however, when today's actress is inexplicably possessed by a real demon, holding the crew captive. To make matters worse, Lane, Drew's fiancée, is the possessed victim. The demon forces Max to a series of brutal and humiliating tasks in front of a rapidly rising global audience, all in the name of punishing him for his online act. Meanwhile, Drew realizes that the demon's terrible aim is not only to exact revenge on him, but also to reveal the dark truths he, Max, and Lane have been keeping hidden from one another in an effort to preserve the love of his life. With only the show clock left, either the truth or the devil forcing them to face their maker is a matter of time.
