The Christmas Shoes
Maggie Andrews, a young music teacher, is dying of a heart problem, and her son Nathan is trying to bring her a pair of Christmas shoes before she dies. Both Robert Layton and his wife Kate are gradually separating and the issue comes to a head over Christmas when Kate takes up Maggie's role in the choir at the school where they both work.
