It doesn't matter that Christmas is coming up, because for the Buckley boys, payback almost always comes out on top over brotherly love. Before the Hagbarts, the meanest bullies in their middle school, unite the four brothers against a common foe. Mom, on the other hand, has decided that the Buckleys will spend Christmas with the Hagbarts this year. He's 11 years old and can't stand it. Hagbarts torture Buckley brothers all day, and at night a group of Buckleys send their enemies Christmas treats and gifts in a hidden way. A war of words soon turns into a plan to get revenge on the Hagbarts in a way that is impossible. It's hard to know what Matthew will do when someone gives him a tiny push that turns into a big shove. He's been taught to be kind to those who dislike him.
