The Christmas Card
Sergeant Cody Cullen's nightmare tenure in Afghanistan ends when his buddy Jonesy is blown up in Nurestan. Cody is sent home to return Jonesy's personal items. On his way home, he stops in Nevada City, California, to meet Faith Spelman, the parishioner who writes Christmas cards to lonely troops, including him. He saves her father Luke from a vehicle accident. The Spellmans invite Cody for Christmas dinner. A big aid in the family logging business. Luke wants Cody as his son-in-law, but Faith is still engaged to Paul, a wine dealer.
