Anna, a British foreign exchange teacher in a depressed Texas town, tries to give her hopeless kids some life by introducing them to soccer. They're terrible at first, but Anna and her football-hero assistant work with them to shape them up. As they work long hours, the couple assists children in developing their self-esteem while also assisting in the resolution of family disputes.
