This book tells the story of a young clumsy fox who gets into mischief with a feisty little red hen. The Fox, who is both dumb and nave, attempts to eat the tiny Hen on a daily basis but is unsuccessful. The Fox, fed up with being humiliated time and time again, decides to raise and eat the Hen's eggs. When the chicks hatch, this plan appears to be flawless.
