The Fountainbleau Hotel in Miami Beach employs Stanley as a bellboy. His duties are carried out discreetly and without saying a word to anyone else in that location. Only his facial expressions and a humorous slapstick technique distinguish him from the rest of the cast. In addition, whatever that may go wrong, does go wrong when Stanley is in the equation. Then, one day, Jerry Lewis, a well-known actor, checks into the hotel, and some of the staff members note the strong resemblance between the two.
