Joan Howell, a young and attractive maid-for-hire, meets and begins dating Tom Milford, a wealthy New York City businessman. Joan brings Tom over to a nice apartment that she cleans on a regular basis, unaware that it is his residence, because she is embarrassed about bringing him back to her little flat that she lives with her roommate Audrey. Tom goes along with the act despite not knowing who Joan is, while she tries to clean up Tom's apartment while not knowing who he is. Matthew Patay contributed to this article.
