Tales from the Lodge
The horror-comedy subgenre is given a unique treatment in the anthology film Tales From the Lodge. A secluded inn hidden away in the middle of England. It has been three years since their friend Jonesy took his own life by drowning himself in the lake, and five of their former college roommates are getting close to the age of 40 when they get together for a weekend to disperse his ashes. They settle in for a pleasant evening by entertaining one other with stories of murders, ghosts, zombies, and possessions; nevertheless, as the day turns into night, the gang becomes aware of another horror narrative unfolding around them; however, this one is genuine.
