Swing Shift
They are happy until after Pearl Harbor, when Kay's husband joins the army. As he did not want her to, his wife took a job at a nearby air-craft plant. She met Hazel, a singer from across the street, and the two became close friends. They worked together and became better at their jobs. Finally, as the war goes on, Kay gets to know her trumpet-playing foreman, and things get a little complicated in her life.
