When international music artist Pras Michel of the Fugees returns to his country of Haiti following the tragic earthquake of2010, he mobilizes a presidential campaign for Haiti's most controversial musician, Michel Martelly nicknamed Sweet Micky, the worlds of music and politics meet. Against a compromised government, civil upheaval, and a rigged election, the politically inexperienced duo set out on a journey. With the addition of Pras' old bandmate, superstar Wyclef Jean, as a candidate for president, their odds of winning become even more bleak. But, with the support of a few close friends, like actor Ben Stiller and former President Bill Clinton, they never give up on their sincere goal of changing the path of Haiti's future for the better forever.
