The monotony of spending the summer vacation with their mother is driving four kids crazy, and they can't wait to get away from her. They could hardly contain their excitement when they were eventually granted permission to camp independently on an island in the middle of a massive lake. But after they get there, they find out that they might not be the only ones there... They learn the skills of survival, the value of friendship, and how important it is to keep one's nerve while fighting for ownership of a desolate island.
