Gabriella, a feisty and fearless teen from New York City. As a result of her actions, she sees the murder of her father, a beloved high school teacher who was trying to help a victim of bullying. Gabriella and her mother are trying to get over their loss by moving to Florida, where Gabriella begins a new school year. But she can't escape the source of her sadness when she witnesses a child being viciously tormented in the lunchroom. It is Gabriella's mission to stop the bullies, even if that means facing up to one of the school's most ferocious students.
