As a 22-year-old woman, Eileen is still reeling from her separation with Russ. She's in town to see her brother Adam, an airline pilot who lives in the city. Eileen tells her brother that, if she's right, she might be the only 22-year-old virgin in the world. In this scene, Adam says that sex isn't what all men want. He also says that he hasn't slept with other women. Adam, of course, is lying. He wants to have a tryst with his girlfriend, Mona, but he doesn't want to be alone with her. Adam's date with Mona, on the other hand, is disrupted by a succession of work-related issues. A woman in New York named Eileen decides to have some fun on her own, and she meets a man named Mike on the bus who looks to be the perfect match. Russ, on the other hand, shows up with a proposal and an incorrect assumption, which throws everything into disarray.
