Straw Dogs
David Sumner, a mild-mannered professor from the United States, marries Amy, an Englishwoman. David and his wife leave the busy life they had in the U.S. and move to the small town in rural Cornwall where Amy grew up. There, the rough men of the village, like Amy's ex-boyfriend Charlie, shun David. At some point, the taunting gets worse, and two locals rape Amy. David's shockingly violent side comes out after he is sexually assaulted.
