Star Wreck: In the Pirkinning

Captain James B. Pirk and the crew of the starship Kickstart are shipwrecked on Earth in the year 2100 in the sci-fi novella "Star Wreck." To defend the Earth from dangerous aliens, Pirk and his crew flew back in time to the far future, but lost their ship and remained stranded there. It's tough for Pirk to convince the ladies of his identity as an interplanetary space hero from the future because he spends much of his time eating at the local fast food joint. Pirk comes up with a shaky scheme to salvage humanity's future as the future of space exploration becomes increasingly grim.
