When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find that an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization has blown up the fleet and everything it stands for, putting our world in a state of crisis. Captain Kirk wants to settle a personal score, so he leads a manhunt to a war-torn world to catch a single person who can cause a lot of damage. As our heroes are drawn into an epic game of life and death chess, love will be tested, friendships will be broken, and Kirk will have to make sacrifices for his crew, the only family he has left.
