This is the tale of the last remaining Seal Child and his return to his family. They are taken to live with Granny after their mother vanished, and Ben and Saoirse find themselves living in the city. A race against time ensues as Ben and his companions set out for the coast in an effort to return to the world of Ben's childhood memories. But this isn't a fairy tale for children; these fairies have been in our world for far too long. They should be banished. Ben quickly realizes that Saoirse is essential to their survival, and he sets out to find her.
