Sommersby
The story takes place in the south of the United States right after the Civil War. Laurel Sommersby is just getting by without her husband Jack, who was thought to have died in the war. From what everyone says, Jack Sommersby was not a nice person, so when he comes back, Laurel has a mix of feelings. It looks like Jack has changed a lot, which has made some people think that this isn't really Jack but a fake. Laurel isn't sure about the man, but she's willing to let him into her home and maybe even her heart.
