Amy, a beautiful woman, confuses love with money and falls victim to South Beach's materialism. But Amy has ambitions that Nick, a modest young architect, can't afford. Amy encounters Sam, an older married man, on her quest for glamour and a dancing career. The lavish lifestyle Sam gives does not fill her desire for affection and attention. Amy, unwilling to let go of Sam's financial support, enters another relationship with Robert, who suspects her. Amy soon realizes that living in South Beach is not all it seems.
