Silent Hill
A young woman trying to find a treatment for her sick kid is drawn to Silent Hill, a spooky, lonely ghost town. Rose, unable to accept the doctor's prognosis that her daughter should be permanently committed for psychiatric care, flees with her daughter in quest of answers, rejecting her husband's objections. Almost immediately, she realizes that this location is unlike any other she has visited. It is shrouded in fog, populated by an assortment of bizarre creatures, and periodically overtaken by a living "darkness" that alters everything it touches. Rose discovers the history of the odd community as she looks for her daughter and finds that her kid is merely a piece in a larger game.
