The stooges are traveling salesmen stranded in quake-prone Valeska. Having no luck selling fur coats to the natives, they are detained when they receive a telegraph to "get rid of present outfit" and an official suspects they are trying to assassinate president Ward Robey. The guys escape a firing squad with the help of the beautiful revolutionary Rita and are ordered to deliver plans to the revolutionary leader. When they bring a rolled-up calendar by mistake, they face the firing squad again, but Rita saves them.
