Sonny Blake (Rose McGowan), a radio talk show therapist, returns to her childhood home on the supposedly bucolic Rosewood Lane after her alcoholic father passes away. However, upon her return to her old neighborhood, Sonny realizes that her neighbors are scared of the neighborhood paperboy (Daniel Ross Owens). She believes this is ludicrous until she comes face to face with the young man himself. It comes out that he is a crafty and deadly sociopath, one who may have gruesomely murdered her father-as well as others-in order to get control of her.
