Psycho IV: The Beginning
Norman Bates is released from the mental institution where he was sent at the conclusion of Psycho III after serving another few years, and he appears to have undergone rehabilitation for the second time. Currently, Norman is married to Connie, a young nurse who is expecting their first kid. Norman, on the other hand, is concerned that the child may inherit his mental disorder. During this time period, Fran Ambrose is a radio talk show host who is discussing the topic of matricide with guest Dr. Richmond, who used to work for Norman as a psychologist. Norman calls the radio station and tells his story under the identity "Ed." The radio station broadcasts Norman's narrative.
