Mr. and Mrs. Bennet have five daughters who haven't married yet. Mrs. Bennet is especially interested in finding them good boyfriends. The Bennets have great hopes when Mr. Bingley and Mr. Darcy move in next door. However, because of their pride, prejudice, and misunderstandings, their relationships are strained, making it impossible for them to be happy.
