In New York City, an impolite pickpocket, Skip McCoy, accidentally triggers a chain of events when he targets and steals the wallet of ex-prostitute Candy. Candy, who has been pursued by FBI agents for months in the hopes of apprehending the spy ringleader, is dispatched by her ex-boyfriend, Joey, to find Skip and retrieve the valuable microfilm he now holds.
