Out of the Darkness
He's in his twenties and has had a calling on his life since a young age, but he's been running from it - he's a modern-day Jonah. Eli decides to leave town after getting fired by his father, arguing with his fiancée in front of their daughter, and then paying a visit to the local bar. Eli misses a curve on a lonely mountain route and careens over an embankment, landing deep in the forest. He finds himself in a state of mystery with no way out, but it is in this state that God works on his heart. It goes without saying that Satan isn't far away from Eli, trying to persuade him to go in another direction. Ultimately, Eli is faced with a decision that will have long-term ramifications because he has been destined to become the Billy Graham of his generation.
