She's an alcoholic actress who is just a few days away from the opening of her new play, which is about a woman who's worried about aging. On one night, one of Myrtle's fans is killed by a car as they try to get the star's attention. A bad accident makes Myrtle think about it. She goes on a spiritual quest but doesn't find the answers she wants. She has to figure out a way to keep the show going as the opening night draws closer and closer.
