In Alaska, Sam and George strike gold. George sent Sam to Seattle in order to return George's fiancée to Alaska. Sam discovers that she is already married and returns with Angel. Sam ultimately romances Angel after unsuccessfully attempting to bring George and Angel together. Meanwhile, Angel is fending off the overtures of George's younger brother, Billy.
