Natasha
Natasha occurs over the course of a single summer. It's the story of Mark Berman, a 16-year-old son of Russian-Jewish immigrants living in the Toronto suburbs. When his uncle enters into an arranged marriage with a woman from Moscow, the woman and her fourteen-year-old daughter, Natasha, move to Canada. Mark, a slacker, is drafted by his parents to look after the strange girl. He discovers that she had a troubled and promiscuous life in Moscow. Between the two of them, a secret and forbidden romance begins, with bizarre and tragic consequences for everyone involved.
