Nairobi Half Life
Mwas, a young ambitious actor from upcountry Kenya, dreams of being an accomplished actor one day and travels to Nairobi, the city of opportunity, in pursuit of this goal. He rapidly learns why Nairobi is dubbed Nairrobery after losing all his money and things and being left alone in a city where he knows no one. Mwas's good fortune, or lack thereof, puts him into contact with the city's crooks, where he develops a bond with a small-time crook who takes him in. As he attempts to pursue his dream of being an actor, he is rapidly lured into a life of crime. Separating the two realities gets difficult for Mwas as he enters this unfamiliar planet known as Nairobi.
