Following their near escape from an old burial ground that had been long forgotten and buried underneath the marshes of Cape Cod, a group of friends emerge from the dense, swampy darkness, tattered and bleeding, and thankful to be alive. They are missing at least two of their buddies, who are most likely no longer alive after becoming separated in the swamp. They make their way into an abandoned Cape Cod vacation cottage that is located next to a foggy marsh in order to seek shelter there. Whatever was in the marsh is still pursuing them, and not long after one of them runs for help, the rest of the gang discovers that the evil that was in the marsh is not the only thing that wants them dead. Something even worse, something more barbaric, was hiding in the home just outside the marsh where they were hiding away. The events that follow are beyond description and a terror that can never be erased from one's memory. These unfortunate travelers spend St. Patrick's Day stranded between two adversaries, and they are given the choice to either engage in combat or retreat in the direction from which they came.
