Moonrise Kingdom

Moonrise Kingdom is the story of two children, both twelve years old, who meet on an island off the coast of New England in the summer of 1965, fall in love with each other, and then form a secret agreement before running away together into the woods. A violent storm is brewing off the coast of the tranquil island hamlet at the same time as multiple officials are trying to track them down. The situation has turned the community upside down in more ways than anybody can handle.
