Ape King revives as a young kid called MK, stressed with the legends of old, uncovers Ape King's enchanting staff. After witnessing Red Child and Princess Iron Follower launch the Demon Bull King from his jail under the mountain, MK inadvertently gets hold of Ape King's magical personnel and leaves, sending him on a journey to return the personnel to Monkey King in order for him to save the day.
