A man and his companions devise a complex and creative scheme to eliminate two major weapon manufacturers. Bazil, an avid moviegoer and video store worker, has had his life nearly devastated by military weapons. His father was killed by a landmine in Morocco, and one fateful night, a stray bullet from a nearby shootout embeds itself in his skull, putting him on the brink of death. Bazil wanders the streets after losing his job and home until he meets Slammer, a paroled convict who introduces him to a group of eccentric junkyard dealers, including Calculator, a mathematician and statistician, Buster, a record-holder in human cannonball feats, Tiny Pete, an artistic craftsman of automatons, and Elastic Girl, a sassy contortionist. When chance reveals to Bazil the two weapon makers responsible for constructing the instruments of his destruction, he devises a sophisticated strategy of vengeance, which his newfound family is more than willing to assist in carrying out.
