After a retreat in Korea, Lieutenant Benson's battalion finds itself isolated in enemy-held terrain on September6, 1950. In no time, Sergeant Montana arrives to assist them in caring for their catatonic colonel. Benson and Montana aren't fond of one other, but they must work together to transport the survivors to Hill465, where they think the division will be ready to welcome them.
