Andula, an innocent Czech girl from a factory community, is desperately looking for love. She thinks she's found it when she beds Milda, a charming young artist seeing from Prague. Milda, nevertheless, is only trying to find a casual encounter, and defaults thinking he'll never ever see Andula again.
