Angie Rossini, an innocent New york city City sales clerk from a repressive Italian-American household, participates in a short-term event with a good-looking jazz artist called Rocky Papasano. When Angie conceives, she locates Rocky wishing he'll spend for her abortion. Rocky accepts aid, but after seeing the unsanitary abortion center, he rejects to let Angie go through with the treatment as well as tries to make her an honest female.
