Agathe Villanova is a self-centered, workaholic feminist politician who, upon hesitantly going back to her home in the south of France to sort out her mom's affairs, competes a local political election. Upon her arrival, Agathe reluctantly accepts participate in a docudrama being made by the blundering duo of Karim, an ambitious filmmaker, as well as self-professed "press reporter" Michel, on the subject of "effective ladies."
