Le Havre
Former bohemian and struggling author Marcel Marx has moved to Le Havre, France. His life revolves around his wife Arletty, his favorite bar, and his unprofitable job as a shoe shiner. As Arletty falls ill, Marcel meets a young African illegal immigrant who needs his help to avoid the cops.
