Last Orders
Jack Dodd was a butcher in London who, for more than 50 years, sipped a pint with his colleagues. The way he died was exactly how he lived: with a smile on his face, watching a horse race on which he had gambled with borrowed money, and with a smile on his face. Prior to his death, he made one final request, which he designated as 'Last Orders,' which directed that his ashes be spread in the sea at Margate. Following Ray, Lenny, and Vic as well as his foster son Vince on their trek to the sea with the ashes, this film is set in the 1970s. Throughout the process, the threads of their lives, their loves, and their disappointments are weaved together in their recollections of Jack and his wife Amy, who passed away in 2011.
