Kids
One of the most divisive portrayals of teenagers in New York City, it exposes them to a frightening world of sex and substance abuse. Telly is a sexually irresponsible, freckle-faced young man whose ambition is to have sexual relations with as many different girls as possible. When Jenny, a young woman who has only had one sexual encounter, tests positive for HIV, she is certain that Telly is to blame. The discovery that Telly's definition of "safe sex" is to only have sex with virgin women, as well as his continued transmission of the disease, prompts Jenny into action to try to prevent him from continuing his practice.
