Meet the Murphys, a dysfunctional family plagued by unending bad luck. Murphy's law states that "everything that can go wrong, will go wrong," and this is true! A witch placed a magical curse on their great-great grandpa more than a century ago, and the entire family has been cursed for generations since then! The Murphy family relocates to Harvest Hills after Meg Murphy (Ciara Bravo of Big Time Rush) and her family's home is destroyed in yet another freak event. The Murphys have been living in their grandfather's house since then. In a strange twist of fate, Meg's arch-nemesis Ivy is also spending the summer in town, which isn't all that unusual. However, when Meg meets a local kid named Brett and he casts another spell on her, this one a love spell, things begin to look brighter, sort of. Meg, more determined than ever, must break the hex on her catastrophically afflicted family with the assistance of her brother Charlie.
