A grieving son and his estranged father embark on a journey into the wild to reconcile their history a year after a horrible catastrophe tore their family apart. When Russell is seriously injured in a horrific accident and they are alone in the wilderness, it is up to October to save them both. This wilderness, however, is not what it appears to be, and as they deteriorate, so does their perception of reality.
